SMS / Text Messaging
Program Terms & Conditions

Effective date: January 1, 2025

1. Overview

These SMS Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern your enrollment in and use of the text-messaging program (the “Program”) operated by PowerPay (“PowerPay,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in to the Program, you agree to these SMS Terms. These SMS Terms supplement, and are in addition to, PowerPay’s Privacy Policy and Account Opening Disclosures.

2. Program description

When you opt in, PowerPay may send you recurring text (SMS/MMS) messages related to your account and your relationship with us. Message types may include: account and application status updates, onboarding and verification requests, servicing and transaction notifications, appointment or callback confirmations, and customer-care replies. This is a transactional and account-servicing program; we do not send unsolicited marketing texts to numbers that have not consented.

3. How you opt in (consent)

You enroll by providing your mobile number and affirmatively checking the separate, optional SMS-consent checkbox during sign-up (for example, at app.getpowerpay.com/apply), by texting a designated keyword to our number, or by otherwise expressly agreeing to receive texts from us. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of applying for, purchasing, or using any PowerPay product or service, and you can complete sign-up without opting in to SMS. You represent that you are the account holder or the authorized user of the mobile number you provide.

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and your interactions with us.

5. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. PowerPay does not charge for the messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard message and data rates may apply to each message sent or received. Check your mobile plan for details.

6. Opt out — reply STOP

You can cancel the Program at any time by texting STOP to the number from which you receive our messages. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from that program. To rejoin, opt in again as described in Section 3. You may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to opt out.

7. Help — reply HELP

For help or more information, text HELP to the number from which you receive our messages, or contact us using the details in Section 12. Replying HELP returns our contact information and support instructions.

8. Supported carriers & delivery

The Program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed by PowerPay. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy & no sharing of opt-in data

We respect your privacy. We use the information you provide to deliver and support the Program in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile opt-in information or SMS consent, or the phone number collected for SMS purposes, with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and SMS consent obtained through the Program are used solely to operate the Program and provide the services you requested; any sharing is limited to service providers (such as our messaging platform) strictly for delivering the messages on our behalf.

10. Eligibility

The Program is intended for residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older and who are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided.

11. Changes to these SMS Terms

We may amend these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date and, where required, communicated to enrolled users. Your continued participation in the Program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.
